Powerhouse vocals, horns and a driving rhythm section deliver music from the golden age of Stax, Atlantic, Motown and Northern Soul — played with the raw energy of a proper live soul show.

ABOUT THE BAND
The Soul Shebang are an eight-piece band with one aim: to make classic soul music feel as exciting live as it deserves to be.
Our set draws on the great records of the 1960s and 70s — from Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Stevie Wonder to Martha Reeves, Candi Staton, The Four Tops and Northern Soul favourites.
We bring our own raucous energy to the songs: big vocals, horns, Hammond-style keys, guitars and a rhythm section designed to fill a dancefloor.
Whether it’s a packed club, a festival stage, a wedding reception or a private party, the aim is the same — a proper live soul show and a room full of people dancing.
With appearances at Leeds’ Domino Club and Manchester’s Matt & Phreds — and return dates already booked — The Soul Shebang are taking their live soul show to more venues, festivals and events across Yorkshire and beyond.
